The Woman’s Club of Chevy Chase has had a proud tradition of community service for over 100 years, and today club members build on that tradition with events like the Art and Craft Fair, which is scheduled for Saturday October 26 at 7931 Connecticut Avenue, just a few blocks north of the East-West Highway. This annual event, which runs from 10 am to 5 pm, will feature dozens of local artisans showcasing their work across a range of mediums, genres, forms and styles. Event organizers note that with the holidays rapidly approaching, the fair can be a great opportunity to find one of a kind jewelry, handmade pottery, paintings by local artists, housewares, quilts and knits, and much more. This year’s fair promises to be the best yet!

Admission to the event is free, as is the parking. Breakfast and lunch will be available on site. Most importantly, all proceeds from the sales go to local charities, and building preservation for the WCCC.
