Since we’re trading in indoor fun for outdoor fun this winter season, it’s time to start finding new outdoor hobbies! One perfect way to have safe fun this year? Ice skating at Silver Spring Outdoor Ice Skating Rink! This outdoor rink has always been a Silver Spring staple for the winter season, but we expect it to gain even more popularity this year. If you’re looking for leisurely winter fun, you can head to an open skate, or if you’re looking to get a little bit more serious take advantage of the Skating School options! 

Let’s talk leisure first. This year, while skating is still available, it’s a little more restricted to abide by CDC guidelines and ensure safety of all employees and visitors. You’ll have to visit their website to make a skate time appointment for you and your group, you can also note during checkout if you’ll need skate rentals or not so be prepped with sizes for the group. Each skate time ticket is for an hour worth of skating, which will surely have you working up a sweat!
