A Summer Garden Tour at Hillwood

An incredible, yet underrated, part of the summer season is all of the beautiful and gorgeous plants and greenery that are in full bloom. Visit all of the luscious gardens of Hillwood- Estate, Museum, and Gardens

Capturing the vision of Marjorie Post when she originally built the estate in the 1950s. She designed the gardens to flower in the spring and the fall when she was a resident at Hillwood. Today, they bloom all year round.

Part of the magic of Hillwood Gardens is the constantly changing seasonal plant displays. All during the month of July, join Jessica Bonilla, director of horticulture, to explore the summer displays and learn about the design process. Including first-hand stories with practical gardening lessons. 

The Gardener’s Tour is taking place on Tuesday, July 12 from 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm. Friday, July 15 from 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm. Tuesday, July 19 from  12:30 pm – 1:15 pm. And finally, Friday, July 22 from 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm. 

Tickets are available for purchase at the Ellen MacNeille Charles Visitor Center upon opening each day.
