Bring Curious Youngsters to the Kid Museum

While the Kid Museum offers private programs throughout the week to empower up-and-coming inventors, every Sunday, it’s open to the public. That presents the perfect opportunity for you and your curious little ones to explore its “state-of-the-art makerspace,” a 28,000-square-foot facility where you can learn about everything from coding to robotics.

Start in the Robot Tech Area to see some of the museum’s resident bots and learn the ins and outs of creating this cutting-edge technology. Then head to the Wonder Forest of Light Exhibits to immerse yourself in a wonderland designed using nothing more than the power of light. For hands-on experiences, head to the Interactive Electronics Studio, the Creative Textile Studio, or the Spacious Woodworking Studio. Experts in each field will be on hand to teach and demonstrate. The Mini Maker Activity Area offers even more interactive experiences for budding artists and engineers alike, and the rotating visiting artists area always has something new to see and experience. Don’t forget to get lost in the Big Build Maze, another of Kid Musem’s awesome exhibits.
